Scott H. Margol

Vice President Corporate Development and General Counsel

As Vice President Corporate Development, Mr. Margol works with others on the management team to evaluate and drive new strategic initiatives, business opportunities and relationships, including strategic alliances, OEM relationships and corporate transactions. As DataCore’s General Counsel, Mr. Margol manages and directs the Company's legal matters.

Mr. Margol became DataCore’s first legal counsel in 1998, when he worked with founders Ziya Aral and George Teixeira to incorporate the Company and secure its initial rounds of funding. At the time, Mr. Margol was a partner in the corporate department of the law firm of Ruden McClosky Smith Schuster & Russell, P.A., and had worked with a wide variety of technology companies and other businesses, advising them on many aspects of their business and financial activities, and assisting them in corporate transactions. Mr. Margol earned his B.A. from Emory University and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
